What do you really believe in?
That’s not just a headline!
It IS a question, a question to you. What – do – you – believe – in? Honestly!
Let’s remember the hype around ‘The Secret’ and all connected to it, all the books about the law of attraction, manifestation and creation, all the self named gurus and self growth experts, tons of seminars and workshops and other personal development events. What do you believe from all that? What do you believe from all this content?
Think of the old Wallace Wattles and “the thinking stuff from which all things are made”. Do you actually believe it? Do you believe that there IS this thinking stuff, which moves intelligently according to your thoughts and vibes?
The good and bad thing about all that is, it will be valid – whatever you do believe in, because this is the core of the laws. If you think all this stuff didn’t work for you, you will be right. If you think: ‘It works’, it will be right too. What I want to remind us is that the whole person with all his or her thoughts and vibes is involved in the manifestation process, meaning: even the slightest doubt or fear or no good feeling will be and always is part of our manifestation, like a shadow on to our creation. If you push yourself to positive thinking, but within you there is something nagging against it or just slightest doubts– that’s it. Corresponding vibes will be there – becoming part of the game and the whole thing is messed up. Sometimes it is not even a nagging thought, it can be a strange feeling in your chest or your neck –same effect.
So what can you do? Although the teachings say and examples show that we can get far with our goals, shooting for the stars and landing on the moon. We need to define and reason our goals in a way that we can fully believe in them, the mind and the body need to say ‘yes’ to it. It is better to achieve a believable goal than never touching the 1 Billion Dollars line and running behind it all your life. What one can believe in is actually very depending on the person’s history and current abilities.
Please: I do not say: ‘Go for small goals.’ – Definitely not. I say: ‘Feel and be honest to yourself.’ If you don’t really believe in things and/or have that no good feeling, they will never be part of your reality. And yes, you can practice to ‘feel right’ having big and ambitious goals …
Happy creations and take care …
